Our time weighted average noise survey is designed to provide data as a basis for decisions integral to your company's Hearing Conservation Program and for compliance with OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.95.

Our readings are compared to 29CFR 1910.95.  According to those regulations the legal limit for unprotected worker exposure must not exceed ninety decibels (90dB) for an 8 hour TWA or 140dB for impact noise.  Management must also notify each employee who is exposed at or above 85dB for an 8 hour TWA about the results of the survey, and make available to all affected employees and their representatives a copy of the OSHA Occupational Noise Standard 1910.95, the survey results, and relevant medical information and audiometric test results.
